Nakameguro Taproom

Our first Tokyo area Taproom was opened in May 2008.

The Nakameguro Taproom kitchen specializes in New Haven-style pizza — a type of Neapolitan pizza known as apizza in and around its birthplace of New Haven, Connecticut.

Add good beer, and Baird Beer in particular, and you have one of life’s truly sublime food-beverage combinations.

Atmosphere

The Nakameguro Taproom enjoys the feel of a vintage beer hall with its large open interior, long communal German tables, and thick wooden bar counters.

A sofa area seats up to 6 adults and a large TV screen is great for viewing sporting events.

Food

Craft Pizza + Craft Beer.

Nakameguro Taproom’s pizza is inspired by the New Haven style with its emphasis on high-temperature baking, fresh seasonal toppings, and a crispy, light crust.

After a 3-4 minute bake in our blistering 700°F (400°C) oven, the bottom and outer crust of the pizza develops spots of flavorful ‘charring’ that New Haven pizza is famous for.

Taprooms are non-smoking establishments so that guests can enjoy the taste and aroma of the cuisine and beer.
