Opened in July 2000 to great quiet and much local indifference, the Fish Tap is now a thriving pub enjoying strong local support.
The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious.The beer-inspired food from our open kitchen is simple and superb. For some karmic reason, Baird Beer tastes better nowhere else. This is Home!
It's also where Baird Beer brewers, after a long brewing day, regularly gather to enjoy the liquid fruit of our labor and to socialize with our customer-friends.

The main seating area looks out over the bustling Numazu fish market. A cozy alcove with sofas provides intimate seating for small gatherings. The bar faces both the beer taps and the open kitchen, allowing for friendly conversation with our beer servers and chef.
