Baird Taproom Nakameguro
Our first Tokyo area Taproom was opened in May 2008.
The Nakameguro Taproom kitchen specializes in New Haven-style pizza — a type of Neapolitan pizza known as apizza in and around its birthplace — New Haven, Connecticut.
What sets New Haven-style pizza apart is the crust — it's especially thin with a crispy shell that is replete with burnt black spots, desirably known as 'char', due to the short but intense high-temperature baking.
Add good beer, and Baird Beer in particular, and you have one of life's truly sublime food-beverage experiences.
26 taps serve year-round and seasonal Baird Beer, as well as guest craft beer – imported and domestic. 4 hand pumps pull a rotating variety of small-batch Baird Beer in Real Ale style, inlcuding the house Nakameguro Bitter.
Taprooms are non-smoking establishments so that guests can enjoy the taste and aroma of the cuisine and beer.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Craft Beer + Craft Pizza
Nakameguro Taproom's pizza is inspired by the New Haven style with emphasis on high-temperature baking, fresh seasonal toppings, and a crispy, light perfectly charred crust.
After a 3-4 minute bake in our blistering 700°F (400°C) oven, the bottom and outer crust of the pizza develops spots of charring that New Haven pizza is famous for.
Enjoy and celebrate craft beer + craft pizza!
The Nakameguro Taproom enjoys the feel of a vintage beer hall with its large open interior, long German tables, and thick wooden bar counters. A sofa area seats up to 6 adults and a large TV screen is great for viewing sporting events. The ample seating capacity makes the Nakameguro Taproom an ideal venue for large events, private parties and musical performances.
Conveniently located next to Nakameguro Station on the 2nd floor of GT Plaza (behind GT Tower) above Kaldi Coffee.
