Beginning this Sunday May 13th, we are going to start something new at the BT, a Sunday Jazz BBQ Brunch.  Earlier this year, we at BT were very fortunate to have found Joe Wagner and his jazz band.  They played at the BT 2 times on a Wednesday night.  I’m not a jazz aficionado but I know when I like something and I liked Joe’s music very much.

I had been thinking about what we could do to bring great entertainment to BT at a very reasonable price (Â¥0 cheap enough?) to go with the good food and beer we already have.  And also to do it in a relaxed environment which meant not on a Friday or Saturday evening.  After I saw Joe’s band, it came to me, a Jazz Brunch on a early Sunday afternoon.  I talked the concept with Joe and he agreed to perform here at the BT with his band as the “jazz” in the jazz brunch.

At the beginning anyway, we agreed that there would be no music charge but at some point in the future we may introduce a music charge so Joe and the band can recoup their expenses but for now, come and enjoy the Joe Wagner quartet.

On the “brunch” side of the jazz brunch, My chef Ken and I will each introduce new menu items just for the brunch.  Of course the full BBQ and pizza menu will still be available but also look at our special jazz brunch menu.  One item that I plan on always having for the brunch is my super light belgian style waffle.

The jazz brunch series will start this Sunday May 13th from 12 noon until 3PM.  Come and enjoy a BBQ brunch and relax with some very good jazz with Joe Wagner.  I think you will enjoy it.
