NFL Update
With the NFL Gamepass subscription, we can show any completed (and live) NFL 2011 games at the BT. Â Gamepass has 2 modes of showing completed games, the full version and the condensed version. Â The full version is what was actually shown during the live game. Â But the more interesting way to view the NFL games is the condensed mode.
I have often been frustrated by the many interruptions to the game which is 60 minutes of actually play time but is stretched out to 3-4 hours by all thee time outs, commercials, quarter and half time breaks, penalty and play reviews. Â My (non-American) football friends have told me they cannot watch the game because of these interruptions.
Condensed mode shows a complete game from beginning to end in a little over 30 minutes. Â It does this by showing only the action footage, ie. from snap to down ball but none of the other interruptions that intereferes with the flow of the game. Â So you won’t see any coach’s time out, no challenges (just the results), no commercials etc. Â You can actually see the flow of the game when viewed this way. Â When the team moves the ball, it is quite obvious to the viewer.
Anyway, when no local sports are showing, BT is keeping the NFL alive by showing either the full or the condensed version so stop by and enjoy with me.
