Dear Taproom Friend & Baird Beer Enthusiast:
Beginning March 1, 2003, the Taproom will open for weekday business at 5:30 PM rather than the heretofore 6:00 PM. Additionally, Taproom business hours on all Japanese National Holidays will change to our weekend hours (i.e. noon to 1:00 AM).
New Taproom Business Hours
Effective March 1, 2003:
- Monday to Friday (5:30 PM – 1:00 AM)
- Sat, Sun, National Holidays (Noon – 1:00 AM)
On the beer front, we want to draw your attention to the first Tokyo Real Ale Festival to be held Saturday March 15 at famed beer-bar, Popeye, in Ryogoku. A dozen of Japan’s top craft breweries will be pouring cask-conditioned ale pulled from real beer engines. Two styles of Baird Beer will be available for tasting: Chocolate Coffee Stout and Best Bitter (a special, single-hopped English-style bitter made just for this event).
