New Brewery Up & Running ! Two New Baird Beers !

June 27, 2003

Dear Taproom Friend & Baird Beer Enthusiast:

Our new brewery is up, running and churning out beer! To commemorate the inauguration of brewing on the new system we have produced two new Baird Beers: New Brewery Celebration Ale and New Brewery Bitter. These beers go on tap tonight (Friday, June 27) at the Taproom and they will be available in the Tokyo-Yokohama area (at Popeye, Takara and COPA) from Saturday, June 28. Visit below link for addresses and phone numbers of Baird retailers:

The expansion of our brewery has moved us boldly up the size scale from microscopic to tiny (look out big boys)! While this increase in capacity will allow us to service more outside accounts and to begin to bottle Baird Beer, it will have no impact on general Baird Beer character. We will continue to brew Baird Beer with the same floor-malted barley, whole flower hops and yeast. Baird Beer will remain unfiltered and continue to be naturally conditioned in the keg (or bottle) from which it is served. Our brewing goal will be exactly as before: balance, complexity, character.

Stop in the Taproom or one of our Tokyo area retailers this weekend for a New Brewery Baird Beer! Let us know what you think.

Finally, please note a change to business hours at the Taproom. Due to our increased focus on beer production, the Taproom will now be closed on Mondays (in addition to Tuesdays). However, we will continue to open at noon on Japan National Holidays, no matter what day.

NEW TAPROOM BUSINESS HOURS
—————————————–
- Wednesday-Friday (5:30 PM Midnight)
- Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays (Noon Midnight)
- Monday & Tuesday (Closed)

Cheers,

Baird Brewing Company & Fishmarket Taproom
