LOWER SHIPPING RATES. We are happy to announce a decrease in the shipping rates for our Baird Beer eStore. The rate decrease is modest for a one-case order (e.g. 4.5% to Tokyo), but more significant for two-case (16% to Tokyo) and larger orders. In general, the most economic order combinations in terms of shipping are two, four, six, etc. As we evolve beyond tiny to, say, small, we anticipate an enhanced ability to negotiate even further rate reductions.

1) Dilettante (Mishima; Tel. 055-972-3572) is a cafe/restaurant recently opened by former Taproom helper Koji Shinomiya. Baird Beer is the perfect accompaniment to Koji’s creative culinary offerings.

2) The Ale House (Fujieda; Tel. 054-636-2889) is a self-described ‘English-style pub’ owned and operated by the passionate ale aficionado Saito-san. We are pleased to add Baird Beer to his fine lineup of world ales.

3) Ohashi Shoten (Iwata; www.wr-salt.com/marunaka) is a specialty retailer of fine wines. Baird Beer, of course, being the ‘wine of beers,’ is a natural fit for this superb establishment.

LIVE EVENT AT TAPROOM, JULY 2.
Taproom Live featuring CODE will take place from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM on Friday, July 2. Reservations are not required and there is only a 500 yen cover charge. This is a great chance to hear a fantastic Tokyo-area band live in a very intimate setting.
