We are proud to welcome four additional members to our growing family of Baird Beer retailers.

1) Four Hearts Cafe (Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture; Tel. 055-237-7793). Owner Ooki-san became a convert to Baird Shimaguni Stout on beer research trips to The Taproom. Now he pours it directly from the taps of his wonderful pub, Four Hearts Cafe.

2) VIVO! BEER + DINING BAR (Higashi-Ikebukuro, Tokyo; Tel. 03-3987-1588). In addition to serving a diverse menu of original food, owner-chef Sasaki-san has put considerable energy into assembling a first-class selection of world craft beers. We are pleased that Baird Beer has been added to this impressive lineup.

3) Beer Inn Mugishutei (Sapporo, Hokkaido; Tel. 011-512-4774). This is the beer bar of craft beer retailing pioneer Phred Kaufman. Before ji-biiru was even a reality in Japan, Phred was spreading the seeds for its emergence through his efforts in importing and retailing world-class craft beer in Japan (including beer under his own label, Ezo Beer). While Phred periodically has served Baird Beer on tap at Beer Inn Mugishutei, we are pleased with his decision to make bottle-conditioned Baird Beer a regular item on his beer menu.

4) Giggle (Mishima, Shizuoka Prefecture). This is a brand new pub launched by some of the members of one of our favorite local music groups, Pub Acoustic Trio. We can’t think of a better atmosphere in which to enjoy Baird Beer than an intimate pub featuring good, down-to-earth Celtic music.
