Dear Taproom Friend & Baird Beer Enthusiast:

The end of the year holiday season is upon us and at Baird Brewing we are celebrating with the annual release of a Fruit & Spice Beer Series seasonal — Holiday Joy Spiced Ale.

Holiday Joy Spiced Ale is a robust, red-hued winter ale with a pleasant alcoholic warmth (approximately 6.5% alcohol by volume). Three popular Christmas-season spices are added to Holiday Joy at the end of wort boiling and this lends a magnificently festive aroma and pleasantly sweet spice flavor to the beer. Holiday Joy Spiced Ale thus can perform equally well as an aperitif or as a nightcap. In either case, it promises to bring added joy to your holiday season experience.

Holiday Joy Spiced Ale is now on tap at the Fishmarket Taproom.

In terms of holiday season business hours, The Taproom will be open as usual throughout the month of December. We will usher out the year and welcome in the new at a special countdown party to be held Friday evening, December 31. CODE will be providing the musical entertainment that night, a Mexican buffet will be served up, and Baird Hatsujozo (”First Brew”) 2005 — a massive Double IPA — will be tapped at the stroke of midnight. More event details will be provided in an upcoming bulletin.

In the new year, The Taproom will be closed on Saturday, January 1 but will be open for business from noon on Sunday and Monday (January 2-3). The Taproom will then close on Tuesday and Wednesday (January 4-5) before resuming the normal business hours on Thursday, January 6.
