The Fishmarket Taproom will turn six this coming July and to commemorate the occasion Baird Brewing will host its first ever Summer Beer Fest. It is because of you, the craft beer enthusiast, that The Taproom business continues to grow and increasingly thrive. In appreciation of this support, an unheard of selection of Baird Beer styles (twelve on tap each day) will be poured, a special celebratory food menu offered, and daily live acoustic musical entertainment provided.

Beer Highlights
- Twelve Baird Beer varieties on tap each day
- All year-round Baird Beer served at a 100 yen discount (600 yen pints) all weekend long
- In addition to the seasonal beer offerings listed below, kegs of American Dream Strong Pale Ale are being held back and conditioned an extra month for serving at the Summer Beer Fest
Saturday, July 15
- Debut of the 7th and newest year-round Baird Beer (Wheat King Ale)
- Complimentary Wheat King Ale posters offered for the first 50 pints served of Wheat King Ale (limit one poster per customer)
- Debut of first-ever Baird Beer seasonal – Cold War Imperial Red Ale
- 2006 debut of annual summer seasonal – Cool Breeze Bohemian-style Pils
- Tapping of final 2006 keg of Natsumikan Ale
- Tapping of single keg – Anniversary Ale (India Black Ale)
Sunday, July 16
- Debut of first-ever Baird Beer seasonal – Strawberry Milk Stout
- Debut of first-ever Baird Beer seasonal – Joie De Vivre Cajun Rice Ale
Monday, July 17
- Debut of the Baird Wood-Aged Beer Series with the tapping of a single 10-liter 2005 Beaujolais Nouveau cask of Cold War Imperial Red Ale. Aged for six-weeks in this wine cask, the Imperial Red Ale will be served direct from the cask in genuine real ale style.
Food Highlights (Saturday through Monday)
A special beer-lover’s light buffet featuring 5 to 7 summer seasonal specialties will be served all weekend long (1,000 yen per person all-you-can-eat).
Saturday, July 15
- Specialty dishes made and paired with the following Baird Beers will be served a la carte: Wheat King Ale, Imperial Red Ale, Cool Breeze Pils, Natsumikan Ale and Anniversary Ale
Sunday, July 16
- Specialty dishes made and paired with Strawberry Milk Stout and Joie De Vivre Cajun Rice Ale will debut
Monday, July 17
- A final specialty dish inspired by and paired with Beaujolais Nouveau Cask-Aged Cold War Imperial Red Ale will be debut
Entertainment Highlights
- In addition to the always enjoyable camaraderie provided by fellow beer enthusiasts, The Taproom will feature first-class acoustic musical entertainment provided by a host of talented and passionate musicians throughout the weekend (and all at no extra charge to you).
