The Fishmarket Taproom will continue its annual tradition of partying out the current year and partying in the next with a delicious Mexican-style fiesta. The fiesta will be buffet style and feature do-it-yourself taco and nacho bars as well as a host of other Mexican cuisine inspired original Taproom dishes. Best of all, you can gorge all evening for only 1,000 yen per person! The buffet will be served from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Reservations not required.

At the stroke of midnight, Baird Beer Year 2007 will be inaugurated with the tapping of Hatsujozo (”First Brew”) 2007 Double IPA. This year’s version is even more irascible than the last! Weighing in at 7.6% ABV and packing a mammoth punch of 84 IBUs, Hatsujozo 2007 Double IPA is a clarion call to Japan beer enthusiasts proclaiming 2007 to be the year of bold, distinct and unmistakably characterful brews! A complimentary glass of Hatsujozo 2007 Double IPA will be served to all patrons for the inaugural toast of 2007. Please plan to join us for a most special and festive evening.

For those unable to make it, Hatsujozo 2007 Double IPA will be available at select Baird Beer retailers as early is 12:01 AM, January 1. Consumers may also purchase bottle-conditioned Hatsujozo Double IPA direct from the brewery for as long as the limited quantities last.

In the new year, The Taproom will be closed Monday and Tuesday (January 1-2) but will re-open for special hours (Noon – 6:00 PM) on Wednesday, January 3. During this day, Sayuri will be cooking up a host of special Shogatsu dishes that will be priced from 300 to 600 yen. Additionally, pints of Hatsujozo 2007 Double IPA will be available all day for the special price of 500 yen. The Taproom will return to normal business hours beginning Thursday, January 4.
