Baird Big Beer Winter Weekend Sat – Sun, February 3-4

Dear Taproom Friend & Baird Beer Enthusiast:

The Fishmarket Taproom will play hostツto the 2nd Annual Baird Big Beer Winter Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, February 3-4. This special event allows us to focus the spotlight on the wonderful world of strong ales and the affinity with which they match fine food.

The Baird strong ales to be featured at this year’s Big Beer Winter Weekend are:

  • Yabai-Yabai Strong Scotch Ale
  • West Coast Wheat Wine
  • Hatsujozo 2007 Double IPA
  • Ganko Oyaji Barley Wine
  • Dark Sky Imperial Stout
  • Ol’ Brewster Strong Ale

Glass-size servings of each ale will be availableall weekend for the special price of 600 yen (taster samples for 300 yen). Of course, the full year-round lineup of Baird Beer also will be available as will a special Brewmaster’s Select Series winter seasonal brew: The Carpenter’s Mikan Ale. A central theme of this year’s food pairing will be thegreat affinity between real cheese and real beer. Six special cheeses will be selected and matched with the various strong ales. In addition, The Taproom kitchen will be featuring a host of special winter dishes made with and designed to match the selection of strong ales.

Reservations are not required. The event will kick-off at noon on both Saturday and Sunday withThe Taproom doors remaining open until midnight. Please plan on joining us for a wonderful weekend of hearty food, warming ales and friendly camaraderie.
